Hubby and I were looking for a new place to try. We happened upon Labama. Easy to get in and out of. Parking lot was a little small but there were plenty of places to part. It had a nice upbeat Mexican Restaurant vibe to it. I had a pina colada. It was pretty tasty. Next we had the chips and salsa. Perfecto! They definitely nailed it with the salsa. I had the pork carnitas, which are my absolute favorite. The meat was super tender. The flavor was perfect. It came with a side of soft and tasty, but very thin tortillas. I like my tortillas to be a little ticker, like mama used to make. Hubby had a veggie burrito and he really enjoyed it. Our waiter, Alberto, gave us some hotter salsa. I highly recommend it if you have the stomach for it. Everything was great. Food came out quick and hot. We ordered some churros for dessert but I had to bring mine home as I was way too full. The place was clean and inviting. Food was flavorful and abundant. It's definitely worth a visit.
We just moved to Plymouth and wanted to find our new regular Mexican restaurant, and this was perfect for us! We ordered the margarita flight (jalapeno, strawberry, and mango flavors), birria tacos, a quesadilla, and a chile rellano- everything was very tasty! The food came out super fast, so we didn’t really have time to enjoy the chips and salsa before dinner, but we didn’t mind. We ended up sitting for a while after we finished dinner just to enjoy the patio while we had more chips. The first refill of your chips and salsa is free, but after that it’s 3 per basket. Overall we really enjoyed our experience!
Really good food with massive portions. Reminds me of the Mexican restaurants I grew up going to in Texas. Staff is super friendly. Highly recommend.
This place is great. From ambiance, to service, to food quality, to value. On par with Fiesta Charra in Carver and Cancun in Kingston, and now my favorite as a local in the area! I dined in with 2 other friends, the booths could easily handle 6-8 adults. Cocktails/mixed alcohol drinks were beautifully done and tastefully strong. The chips for dine-in were seemingly bottomless, which was incredibly well received with the, for most, a medium spicy salsa. My friends I was with swear and love the queso, which was a modest extra. I got the fajita burrito (modified for dairy allergy) and this was 2 meals for me (be prepared to bring half home for the fridge for lunch next day! If walking around Plymouth after, consider splitting this dish). Guacamole on top was as fresh as refreshing. We all went straight to bed and stuffed. Having exclusive and available parking compmimentary to guests in this area is also a huge plus. This truly felt as authentic mexican as you can get in Plymouth/South Shore - Well Done, Bravo, A

La Bamba Tacos & Tequila is a new favorite in Plymouth. I loved their flavorful salsa and the unique chicken fajita salad served in an edible, crispy taco bowl. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the staff was very friendly. Plus, their menu with pictures made ordering a breeze!
Omfg I can't say enough positive things about this place. The service was great. The food outstanding. The drinks were SO OOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!! Best margaritas I've ever had. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED GOING!!!
Absolutely A-MA-ZING! We had the super nachos with ground beef, the chicken quesadilla and the steak street tacos. For drinks, I ordered the sangria and my fiance ordered the Fiesta Margarita for us to share. The drinks were very well made, easy to sip and deceptively strong. All the dishes arrived lightning fast, were authentically Mexican and ridiculously well served. We had to ask for to-go boxes. Jennifer, our server, was friendly, warm and fast. I’ll definitely come back and recommend La Bamba to everyone I know in Plymouth.
